ACID MADNESS - #101 Three fantastic effects with the Russian Roulette theme. With acid, rodent control pellets, poisonous flaming liquid, - plus an extra routine. MENTALISM AT ITS BEST. ALA BILLY - #102 (Based on the McCombical Deck by Billy McComb) A prediction card is shown and you state that if the prediction turns out wrong you will give everything in your wallet to the assisting spectator. The prediction card is placed in view and you then show some cards to the rest of the audience. THE CARDS ARE ALL THE SAME (matches of the prediction card) You smile and say "I never fail." This will evoke laughter. The unsuspecting spectator is then told to select one of the cards and to name it aloud. He names an entirely different card. MENTAL GO ROUND - #212 You fan a deck of cards to show them to be regular playing cards. Half of the deck is handed to a spectator who is told to shuffle the cards. You shuffle the portion you retained. Cards from both halves are then placed on the table, alternately, by spectator and yourself, forming a circle on the table. NEZ PERCE SYMBOLS - #229 Divination or Reading method with American Indian Symbols. Weird!. A set of nine tokens with Indian symbols are laid out on a piece of hide. A spectator is told to place the Totem Pole Talisman on any of the symbols. You write a prediction and place it under the hide. PREDICTION MODERNE - #241 - Direct and automatic as Mentalism should be. A deck of cards is tossed out top the audience to be shuffled. You write a prediction, fold it and impale it on a rod in the center of a small stand. Nine cards are removed from the top of the shuffled deck and placed on the three position on the stand, three cards per position. A spectator selects one of the positions and the cards on the other two positions are discarded. The three cards on the selected position are redistributed on the three positions, one card per. Another spectator now selects one of the positions. The other cards are removed. and your prediction matches the lone card left on the stand. Jim Rainho's SUPERB BOOK TEST - #280 Another Book Test? well Yeah, but it's been around for some time and it doesn't even have any off springs so it doesn't parent anything. I came up with this Test because I wanted one that was DIRECT without any forcing of books, or pages or any PUMPING. Here is the effect: A book is shown and the pages riffled to show that they are all different. A page is ripped out of the book and torn into eight pieces by a spectator. A torn piece is selected by a second spectator who reads the contents (on both sides) to himself. IMMEDIATELY the Mentalist reveals the contents of both side of the piece of page. THIS IS THE FIRST ROUTINE. THE SECOND ROUTINE IS EVEN BETTER! A book is tossed out to be inspected. The spectator rips out a page and tears in into eight pieces.
